I wasn't quiet sure how i was going to feel about ANGEL, when i sat down to read it . i had a copy of it for weeks before i started to read it i just kept putting it off for some reason. I wasn't sure i would like it, as it just sounded like crazy girl and crazy boy with some messed up life status, the one dreaded thought running through my head twilight but angel version, but would this book be like this?? or was this book as hype as twitter,amazon and good reads were saying??
Well i am happy to say upon finishing book i can say that it blow all my doubts out of the room. In fact after finishing ANGEL i did think the hype was big enough !while it is a big book, around 512 pages , every single one of them packs a punch that will keep you glued to its pages and racing to see what happens next.
Willow tries to be normal but she's not,being physic and a half angel has it draw backs on trying to be normal, no dad and living with her aunt and her mum who lives in her own world , nothing is easy.But civilization has a threat, a threat with wings..... the church of angels , trying to help and guide people with her gift , but ends up pushing someone into the angels clutches, she tries to save her but being a half angel in a church full of evil angels ,isn't a good idea.
In this deadly situation she means Alex and angel killer (ak) , now on the run from angels on a mission to kill, can willow and Alex safe the world from destruction or not ??
only one thing really bugged me about the book. And that is at the started it has flashes backs and we have no clue why there are flashbacks at the start. what was the point . but the funny thing is we don't find out why alex has flash backs till half why through. but please L.A.Weatherly make it clear ..... as my sanity can't take it !
L.A.Weatherly really made a masterpiece,It truly is a flawless debut worth every bit of hype and then some! and i could barly contain my excitement for book two. but thankfully for everyone who si readin this has not got no wait for book two as it already > LUCKY !!
